French Roots

By, Jean-Pierre Moulle & Denise Lurton Moulle

This lovely new cookbook captures the country lives of a couple defined and enriched by local and regional food. The book eloquently merges the old French rural way of cooking with the modern American way while revealing magical aspects to this charming couple’s relationship. French Roots will draw you in page after page offering you an in depth look at this couple’s lives as they live in California and France. From hearty cassoulet and stew, to simple salads and soups, Jean-Pierre and Denise offer readers tantalizing recipes all prefaced with interesting stories about influential times of their lives. You need a chunk of time to read their stories, but the recipes are easily accessible and the photos will make you drool.
